Cadillac is getting ready to go after flagship three-row SUVs like the Audi Q7 and BMW X7 with a surprisingly value-led position.

The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq is set to arrive in Australia from late 2026 with a starting price of $116,000.
The $116,000 starting price has seen Cadillac reposition the smaller Lyriq to just $95,000 drive-away, down from its previous starting point of $122,000 plus on-road costs.
The Vistiq will come equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive electric drivetrain producing a combined 459kW and 880Nm.
Cadillac claims a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.2 seconds.
A 91kWh battery contributes to a 461km of driving range rating, with Cadillac claiming 22kWh/100km consumption. Based on this battery capacity at 22kWh/100km, this suggests range would actually be closer to 413km.
The Vistiq will arrive in Australia as a single top-spec Platinum model, despite a model range of four variants available overseas.
The Vistiq measures 5233mm long, making it just 18mm longer than a Mercedes-Benz GLS. The Vistiq’s 3094mm wheelbase is 41mm shorter than that of the Mercedes, however.
The Vistiq Platinum will come equipped with 22-inch alloy wheels, adaptive air suspension, Brembo front brakes, and four-wheel steering.
The Six-seat Vistiq will feature second-row captain’s chairs, a dual-pane sunroof, heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, four-zone climate control, and a 23-speaker AKG Studio sound system with Dolby Atmos sound processing.
The interior features a 33-inch single-panel LED display for infotainment and instruments, eight years of access to Cadillac Connected Services, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and 126-colour ambient lighting.
Despite its premium positioning, the Vistiq will arrive in Australia with polyurethane-based synthetic leather upholstery, dubbed Nouveauluxe, in place of genuine leather. Open-pore wood trim and a microsuede headliner are also fitted.
The Vistiq will offer 430 litres of cargo space behind the third row of seats, 1218 litres with the third row folded, and 2271 litres with the second row folded.
Claimed to be capable of charging at up to 22kW AC or 190kW DC on a compatible charger, Cadillac also claims 10 minutes of max-rate DC charging will add 104km of range.
The Vistiq will be positioned as a rival to vehicles like the Audi Q7 (from 108,805 plus on-road costs), BMW X7 (from $180,900 +ORCs) and Mercedes-Benz GLS (from 189,100 +ORCs).
It also undercuts non-prestige brand electric rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 9, from $119,750 +ORCs and intersects the Kia EV9 range, from $97,000 to $129,250 plus on-road costs.
The Vistiq is expected to arrive in Australian showrooms from late 2026.
