Customers on the fence about a GWM PHEV are being enticed by three-years free servicing on most models, but only for a limited time.
Four plug-in hybrid models – Haval H6, Haval H6 GT, Cannon Alpha, and Tank 500 – are part of the offer, but the newly-released Tank 300 PHEV is excluded.
The complimentary services cover three maintenance intervals, or 36 months, with the Cannon Alpha representing the greatest value at $1595.
Meanwhile, purchasing a Tank 500 PHEV can save buyers $1455 in servicing costs, while a Haval H6 and Haval H6 GT score $1085 and $1060 in extra value respectively.
This campaign is said to highlight GWM's electrified powertrain technology called Hi4 — short for Hybrid Intelligent 4WD, which uses a twin-electric motors and a four-wheel-drive layout.
GWM's off-road vehicles, such as the Cannon Alpha PHEV and Tank 500 PHEV, use the brand's Hi4-T system, which combines hybrid electric drive with a traditional mechanical 4WD system that has low-range gearing and locking differentials.
The four PHEV models span across popular SUV and dual-cab ute segments in Australia.
GWM Australia says its best-selling PHEV model is the H6 and H6 GT, with around 20 per cent of customers opting for plug-in hybrid power when buying the mid-size SUVs.
GWM's complimentary service offer is available between 21 February and 7 March, 2026, with customers required to take delivery before 31 March to be eligible.
