Only available in a small batch, the near-800kW roadster is reserved for the wealthiest of wealthy Lamborghini customers.
Lamborghini has revealed the limited-run Fenomeno Roadster, a circa-$8 million open-top supercar limited to 15 examples, all with a V12 hybrid drivetrain producing close to 800kW.
It will be the most powerful open-top model built by Lamborghini – with or without an electric folding roof, something the Roadster is not confirmed to feature – and is based on the Fenomeno coupe shown in 2025.
It shares the closed-roof version's 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, a tuned version of the unit in the regular-production Revuelto, now producing 614kW and 725Nm to become Lamborghini's most powerful V12.
It is paired with three electric motors, two on the front axle and one above the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, as well as a 7kWh lithium-ion battery for fully-electric driving capability.
A combined output of 794kW (1080 metric horsepower) is quoted, matching the coupe, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in a claimed 2.4 seconds, 0-200km/h in 6.8 seconds, and a top speed in excess of 340km/h.
The Fenomeno uses an aerospace-inspired structure named the 'monofuselage', the same used to underpin the Revuelto, albeit with changes to accommodate the limited edition and its open-top bodywork.
Compared to the Coupe, the Roadster's aerodynamic system is completely redesigned, with a windscreen-mounted spoiler to direct airflow over the car and into the engine bay, in place of the fixed-roof version's air scoop.
The rear end draws inspiration from the brand's Essenza SCV12 track car, as well as 1970s racing prototypes, with a wide and deep rear diffuser, which works with the underbody, and an active rear wing.
Hexagons are seen across the vehicle, from design cues on the side skirts, wheel arches and air intakes to the LED light signatures.
Manually-adjustable racing shock absorbers are fitted, plus carbon-ceramic brakes, 21-inch front and 22-inch rear alloy wheels, and bespoke Bridgestone tyres.
The limited-run Fenomeno Roadster model joins Lamborghini's line of 'Few-Off' sports cars, which are first reserved for the brand's top customers, and are also used to test out certain styles and technology for upcoming production models.
Just 15 will be produced, at an estimated price of €5 million ($AU8 million), well above the 29-unit coupe's €3 million ($AU4.9 million). One is reportedly destined for Australia.
